We have 8 openings remaining (as of this writing) in our Resilience For First Responders class this Monday, April 19th from 0800-1700. This class is provided to DSA members only at no cost to them or their divisions.

We will be serving attendees catered breakfast and lunch, and they will also receive 8 POST credit hours for attending. The first half of the day is an overview of the neuroscience of trauma, a guest speaker after lunch, then Trauma Therapist, Jennifer Young, LMFT, will teach attendees how to expel stress as it happens to prevent cumulative stress and PTSD.

This class consistently receives rave reviews, and here are some past survey comments from attendees:

“This class was outstanding. Was the best class I have attended in 28 .5 years. Should be a required class for everyone. Well-presented.”

“This would be a great mandatory course (like the Critical Incident Stress Debriefs) for anyone involved in an OIS or similar stress inducing call for service.”

“Excellent, relevant class. Thank you for setting this up!”
