S.C.D.S.A. Endorses Dustin Silva for Folsom City Council District 2

Sacramento, CA- The Sacramento County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association (SCDSA) Board of Directors has voted to endorse Dustin Silva in his campaign for Folsom City Council District 2. He currently serves as Captain at the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, boasting a proud 25-year tenure in law enforcement. Throughout his career, he has held various roles such as patrol, detectives, narcotics, K9, Regional Transit, and corrections. In the last two years, his focus has been on tackling homelessness, retail theft, and human trafficking. Recently promoted to the rank of Captain, he now leads the Investigations Division.


As a prospective Folsom City Councilman, he aims to emphasize public safety and maintain Folsom’s reputation as one of California’s safest cities.


According to Mr. Silva, “It means the world to me to have the support of the men and women who do the daily work of keeping our communities safe. I have spent the last 25 years working with my fellow Deputy Sheriffs’ Association, and it is humbling to have them trust in me.”
