S.C.D.S.A. Endorses Jay Martinez for Sacramento County Office of Education

Sacramento, CA- The Sacramento County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association (SCDSA) Board of Directors has voted to endorse Jay Martinez in his campaign for the Sacramento County Office of Education, Area 4. Mr. Martinez is a small businessman/landscape professional serving the greater Sacramento region since 2013. He currently resides in Orangevale, CA, and grew up in Sacramento County. He attended college at Sacramento State, where he worked part-time stocking groceries at night and in the daytime helping his dad shoveling wheelbarrows of dirt and installing grass for residential homes. Jay used his experiences to qualify for his contractor’s license and ultimately founded JVM Landscape.

On learning of our endorsement, Mr. Martinez responded:

“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Sacramento County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association. Their support means a great deal to me, and I am grateful for the incredible work they do in keeping our schools and communities safe. Together, we will continue to protect our children and ensure their well-being both in and out of school.”

“We are happy to endorse Jay Martinez for the Sacramento County Office of Education. Jay’s passion for school safety, the support of school resource officers, and the well-being of the youth are admired and align with the SCDSA.” -Sergeant Nathan Seger, S.C.D.S.A. President.
