November 30, 2023

Sacramento, CA- The Sacramento County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association (SCDSA) Board of Directors has voted to endorse Maggy Krell in her campaign for State Assembly. Over the course of her career, Maggy Krell has served in multiple capacities, including Deputy District Attorney and Deputy Attorney General. As an advocate for vulnerable victims, Maggy has dedicated her entire career to seeking justice. Among her high-profile cases were murder, organized crime, human trafficking, and domestic violence.

According to Mrs. Krell, “As Deputy Attorney General, I have spent my career protecting public safety and helping survivors of sex trafficking. I am deeply honored to have earned the support of the Sacramento Deputy Sheriffs’ Association—officers who put their lives on the line every single day for the safety of our community.”

“Currently, law enforcement is facing a mounting threat from rising legislation. At this time, we feel that Maggie Krell will have law enforcement and the community’s best interests at heart.”
-Sergeant Nathan Seger, S.C.D.S.A. President.
