SCDSA Endorses Tanya Kravchuk for San Juan Unified School District Board, Area 5

Sacramento, CA- The Board of Directors of the Sacramento County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association (SCDSA) has endorsed Tanya Kravchuk for the San Juan Unified School District Board, Area 5. Kravchuk currently serves as President of the San Juan Unified School District Board and is seeking a second term in November 2026. After immigrating to the United States from Ukraine at age five, Kravchuk attended San Juan Unified schools and later raised her four children in the community. Her professional background includes marketing, public affairs, business, and nonprofit work focused on children and families.
Kravchuk stated, “I am deeply honored to receive the endorsement of the Sacramento County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association. Law enforcement and schools share the same goal — safe environments where our community can thrive. I have worked closely with our Safe Schools officers and law enforcement partners throughout my time on the board, and I look forward to continuing that partnership in my second term.”
