S.C.D.S.A. Endorses Commissioner James Morris for Sacramento Superior Court Judge

Sacramento, CA- The Board of Directors of the Sacramento County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association (SCDSA) has formally endorsed James Morris for Sacramento Superior Court Judge. James Morris is a former prosecutor who joined the Sacramento County Superior Court in 2019 as a criminal law research attorney. Since that time, he has advanced to manager of the criminal law research team and currently serves as a commissioner.

According to Mr. Morris, “I am honored to be endorsed by the Sacramento County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association. Their members exemplify integrity, selflessness, and dedication to the protection of our community. I’m deeply humbled to have earned the confidence and support of some of our county’s finest.”


SCDSA President Sergeant Nathan Seger added, “We are pleased to support James Morris for Sacramento Superior Court Judge. James brings extensive legal experience and, much like law enforcement officers, is dedicated to making our community a safer place.”
