SCDSA Endorses Clara Levers for Yolo County Judge

Sacramento, CA- The Sacramento County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association (SCDSA) Board of Directors has voted to endorse Clara Levers in her campaign for Yolo County Judge. Levers has been a Deputy Attorney General in the Criminal Division for 15 years. For 14 years, she has been a trainer for the California Peace Officers’ Association. Levers is a subject-matter professional on search and seizure and has trained law enforcement officials and prosecutors around the state. Additionally, she is the editor of the California Peace Officers Legal Sourcebook.

Mrs. Levers said, “Since announcing my campaign for judge, I have been honored and humbled to receive support from such a diverse coalition of stakeholders, including the Sacramento County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association. I have worked with law enforcement throughout my career to ensure officers have the tools they need to uphold the law equitably and fairly. I look forward to bringing that same perspective to the bench.”

“Levers has a proven track record of supporting law enforcement, and we as an Association believe that having people on the bench that are fair, yet firm is important to law enforcement and the community.”-Sergeant Nathan Seger, S.C.D.S.A. President.
