Sacramento, CA- The Board of Directors of the Sacramento County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association (SCDSA) has endorsed Chris Fredrich for the Folsom Cordova Unified School District Board. Fredrich has lived in Folsom for 17 years with his wife and two children, who attend Folsom Cordova public schools. He has built his career in the private technology sector, where his work has included solving technical problems and managing engineering teams. Fredrich earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara. His campaign has identified academic outcomes, parent engagement, school safety, and the appropriate use of technology in classrooms among his priorities.

Fredrich stated, “I’m honored and humbled to receive the endorsement of the Sacramento County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association. Safe schools and strong communities are top priorities for our law enforcement officers, and I’m proud they trust me to champion that same commitment on the FCUSD Board.”

“Chris Fredrich understands something that should never be complicated: our children cannot learn if they do not feel safe. Chris has made campus safety a priority and recognizes the importance of listening to parents, supporting those responsible for protecting our schools, and addressing problems before they become crises. SCDSA is proud to support Chris because we believe he will be a strong partner in keeping Folsom Cordova schools safe for students, teachers, and families.” – Sergeant Nathan Seger, President of SCDSA.
