SCDSA Endorses Rosario Rodriguez for Board of Supervisors

Sacramento, CA- The Sacramento County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association (SCDSA) Board of Directors has voted to endorse Rosario Rodriguez in her campaign for the Board of Supervisors. Ms. Rodriguez was elected to the Folsom City Council in 2020, previously serving on the Historic District Commission for three years. In 2022, she served as Vice Mayor, and as of 2023, is serving as the Mayor of Folsom. Prior to her involvement with the Folsom City Council, Rodriguez spent nearly 25 years in healthcare management. In 2016, she became a business owner and opened a San Francisco-style taqueria in the Historic District of Folsom.

On learning of our endorsement, Ms. Rodriguez responded:

“Keeping citizens safe has been a top priority as mayor and councilwoman – and will continue to be my focus as County Supervisor. I’m deeply honored that the men and women who put their lives on the line to protect our community every day have decided to support me for County Supervisor.”

“We are excited to endorse Rosario Rodriguez to fill the shoes of Supervisor Sue Frost.  She has a proven track record of working with all sides to get things done.  She will bring experience and most of all continue the support of public safety in our communities.  It will be an honor to serve the citizens of Sacramento County alongside her and the rest of the Board of Supervisors.”
